About:
👏 Ok, I am personally very THRILLED about this session!
We all know that rough mid-season energy slump? Well, not anymore! Kristen, passionate about cultivating competitiveness in practice, will teach us her strategies to keep the energy up.
She will teach on the following points:
Examples of commonplace/fundamental drills that can be infused with the creative competition.
Strategies to enhance unit competitiveness (offense & defense).
Ideas to maintain a competitive mindset within your team all year.
Like any other WLD Trainer, Kristen's resume is imposing both as a player and a coach. She spent seven years heading the Army West Point team before moving to Virginia Tech in 2021. She's creating a winning culture and a team full of happy players (check their Instagram - they have a ton of fun!)
💃 Fun Fact: Kristen played for Kerstin Kimel at Duke and became her assistant after graduation. The lacrosse world is so, so small!
I don't think it's a coincidence that all of the ACC coaches we've learned from in the past have a deep desire to teach and share their knowledge. They're also incredible human beings with generous spirits. Kristen is no different. I was blown away by her after our first conversation, and you will be too.
Let's take a peek at her resume:
