DRILL: Learning the Basics, Scooping

Setup: Each player should have a ball, and a perimeter of your choosing

Directions: Ensure each girl has a ball in their stick and have them all line up on the end line. When you say go, the girls will roll the ball out in front of them, scoop it up, cradle once or twice and roll it out to scoop it up again. Do this down the field and back depending on age and level. You can have them switch to scooping in their non dominant hand on the way back so they get comfortable using both!

• Make it fun: Turn it into Simon says!
  "Simon says SCOOP!” or “SCOOP!” -The girls can have fun and giggle when they scoop on accident!
