We are excited to highlight Kellie Cope, who is dedicated to nurturing our members and female athletes. Through her passion for sports, nutrition, and helping individuals build a healthy connection with their bodies, she focuses on educating and improving the lives of everyone in her community.
Kellie’s commitment to our community is unmatched, and her care for others makes her a driving force for positive change. She’s not just making an impact—she’s inspiring those around her to do the same💪
Why Lacrosse? 🥍
Kellie Cope grew up playing field hockey, swimming, and lacrosse, understanding the value of being a multi-sport athlete. While she cares deeply about all female athletes, lacrosse has had a special place in her heart ever since her college days.
Since learning about nutrition, Kellie has discovered that women’s lacrosse has one of the most challenging cultures when it comes to nutrition and disordered eating within female sports. She is deeply committed to changing this, working to create a healthier, more supportive environment for athletes in the sport.
A Champion for Female Athletes🩷
Kellie Cope recently shared her expertise with us at WLD in a powerful training session, Female Athlete Nutrition for Optimal Performance AND Health! Her dedication for supporting female athletes goes beyond presentations—she actively collaborates with other members to work with their teams, continuing to spread a positive culture around athlete nutrition and body confidence.
Kellie’s generosity with her knowledge is truly inspiring. It shines through in every interaction she has on our platform, as she works to educate, support, and uplift others. Her dedication to fostering healthy habits and relationships with nutrition makes her an invaluable part of our community and a true advocate for positive change.
Coaching philosophy
Kellie Cope is passionate about developing the lacrosse scene in Tennessee and currently coaches for the Barron High School lacrosse program. As a coach, she is always focused on not just improving her athletes' lacrosse skills, but also on helping them set up for success in life beyond the field. She believes strongly in the power of sports:
“Sports in general add so much value and teach us so much about ourselves. It’s something we as coaches can use as a tool to instill a lot of life lessons.”
Kellie Cope is a passionate advocate for female athletes, bringing her unique perspective as an athlete, coach, and mother to her work. She’s not just focused on helping athletes excel physically—she cares deeply about their overall well-being, fostering a supportive and inclusive community where they can thrive.
“It’s not just about the athlete—it’s about the whole environment. It’s about creating a culture where parents, coaches, and communities understand how to support the athlete’s growth, performance, and overall well-being.”
Through her nutrition business, Kellie goes above and beyond by educating athletes, their families, and coaches, and helping to reshape the culture for female athletes. Her dedication to empowering others shines through in everything she does, whether she’s working one-on-one with an athlete, supporting a fellow WLD coach, or on the lacrosse field.
What Kellie Loves About WLD
The powerful community and the wealth of resources at her fingertips.
Beyond having access to hundreds of drills, she values the connections with coaches from all levels across the country, fostering collaboration and growth 🤝
Kellie is also a big fan of our book club 📚, where we recently read Reach for the Summit by Pat Summitt, and appreciates the ongoing opportunities to learn from the inspiring coaches in the WLD community! 💡
What Kellie doesn’t realize is that the very things she loves about our community—connection, collaboration, and learning—are exactly what she contributes to so generously.
We’re incredibly lucky to have her, and her passion helps make this community even stronger! 🙌💖
