From her days as a star player at Seton Hill University to her current role as Associate Head Coach of the Women’s Lacrosse Program at Robert Morris University (RMU), Emma Simmers continues to leave a lasting impact. And now, she's been recognized with one of the highest honors—induction into the Seton Hill Hall of Fame! 🏆


Emma Simmers' journey began at Seton Hill University, where she dominated as a lacrosse player. Her incredible skills and leadership earned her recognition as one of the program's all-time greats. Being inducted into the Hall of Fame is a testament to her dedication and success as a Division II athlete. 🎓💪

Legacy at Seton Hill 🥍

During her time at Seton Hill, Simmers was a three-time All-Conference selection, including two First Team All-PSAC honors. She also earned national recognition as a two-time IWLCA All-Region and two-time IWLCA All-American selection, making the Second Team All-American roster twice.

Her stats speak volumes about her impact on the field: 215 goals, 66 assists, and 270 draw controls. These accomplishments place her second in career goals and third in career points in school history—a testament to her incredible skill and work ethic. Hear more from her legacy here!

In addition to her athletic achievements, Simmers graduated with a degree in Educational Studies, which she is now putting to good use as a women’s lacrosse coach - teaching and educating others about the game we all love.

From Player, to coach

After her stellar collegiate career, Simmers transitioned into coaching, spending five seasons as an assistant coach at Seton Hill, where she helped lead the program to four NCAA Tournament appearances. Her expertise and leadership made her an integral part of the team’s success.

Following her time at Seton Hill, Simmers joined Robert Morris University alongside Coach Courtney Grove. In her first season, she helped lead the RMU women’s lacrosse team to the Mid-American Conference Championships!

She is now in her second season as Associate Head Coach, where she continues to inspire and mentor young athletes with the same passion she brought to the field as a player.

Emma Simmers’ induction into the Seton Hill Hall of Fame is a well-deserved recognition of her talent, dedication, and lasting impact on the lacrosse community. Congratulations, on this incredible honor! Here’s to even more milestones ahead. 🥂🎉
