Stephanie currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia where she has been since right before Covid. She was able to find her lax family at Parkview High School, and with a club team, Gwinnett Rush. Stephanie became the head coach of Parkview starting in the 2022-2023 season. In her time at Parkview, they have stomped past school records with an appearance in the second round of playoffs and a second-place ranking in their area for the first time in program history. 💪🏆
Stephanie moved to Georgia from Dallas, TX where her team (Southlake) won the Division II State Championship in 2019. 👏 She worked with the 214 club lacrosse team and worked at a lacrosse store (Lax Kong) in her spare time.
Before Texas, Stephanie lived in England on a one-year contract (2016-2017) where she was a Graduate Sports Fellow at Oakham School teaching PE and coaching lacrosse. During her time in England, she also was the Associate Head Coach of DeMontfort University’s women’s lacrosse team and led them to a second-place finish in their league.
Before her year in England, she lived in Nashville, TN, which is where she grew up and got to coach the teams she used to play for- Ravenwood High School, and Woodland Middle School. She assisted the high school team get to a final four appearance for the state championship in 2015, and with the middle school, where they won the state championship three years in a row in 2013-2015. 🌟
Before her time coaching in Nashville, Stephanie was playing in college at the Division 1 level with Longwood University. Her team won the NCAA D1 NLC Conference her freshman year before they moved to the Big South Conference. She graduated from there in 2013. Stephanie started in 2003 when she was in 7th grade and is really proud of the progress she has made over the years!
Stephanie loves to travel for lacrosse opportunities and meet new people. From her time in England and more, she has made many international friends. She played overseas in a few 18+ playing opportunities, and currently is a part of a movement to grow women’s box lacrosse internationally! Starting with her Atlanta home! She has tried out for professional women’s lacrosse, back when it was the UWLX and found many friends though that experience too.
