Casey has been coaching for 6 years so far after graduating in 2018. She went right from college to being a graduate assistant at Wittenberg University and spent three years there, and then at the University of Akron for 2 years. Casey feels so grateful for all of the lessons she’s learned at each school. ❤️

“They have pushed and changed me to be the coach I am today. I am still growing and continuing to learn. My first year as a head coach I learned a lot about myself, the game of lacrosse, and my team.”

“My season at Lake Forest was great! It was my first season as head coach, and I am so grateful for the group that I have. They are hardworking and everything we accomplished this season proves how determined they are.”

Casey won the MLC coach of the year. 🌟 “I couldn’t have done it without my assistants, Meg and Nicole. I would say it would be better if it was called coaching staff of the year!”

➡️They won the MLC conference tournament and got to play in the first round of NCAAs. They did not win the first round game, but learned a lot from it.

➡️They were 14-3 which is a huge accomplishment as a third year program and beat some hard out of conference games that gave the team a lot of confidence.

➡️Their attacker of the year had 54 goals and 64 assists with 118 points which doubled her career points. 💪
