Jeff recently started coaching, but has been a ref for 3 years and a lacrosse dad for 7 years. He did a little coaching right before COVID, but now is the Head Coach of the varsity program at Parkway South High School in Manchester, MO.

Jeff said he didn’t have an extensive background in lacrosse until his kid came home one day and said, “Dad, I want to play lacrosse.” So, he did what every dad does in that situation and googled, “what is lacrosse?” He ended up buying a book, the Baffled Parents Guide to Coaching Girls Lacrosse, and he’s been a fan ever since! 📘

“I think culture is the most important part of a team,” says Jeff. He is highly focused on this and empowering his players. He feels his job is to just provide suggestions then get out of the way. He said they know what to do (his players), they just need reassurance to do it! 💪
